OTOH, I am charged in Korean Won on DL even though the credit card is U.S.-issued (AA and UA seems to price in dollars). It is converted to US dollars at the end of the transaction, but the fare pricing is Korean (in fact, I've had to explain to clients why my flight cost W1,856,000 since that was on the receipt - one actually thought it was dollars!). This might be due to the fact that, since I am not U.S. based, there is no MQD requirement.
