It seems as if it's just me sometimes that has horrid luck, but none of the other aircraft I've taken on MH and SQ have the same problem. I checked what they're based on, completely different: Red Hat Linux vs Panasonic. LH, BA and QF IFE problems have also been reported, so it got me thinking that the A380 was to blame (be it a design flaw or technical issue).
