I live near LHR. 4 times per year I go to YYZ or YUL. If it were you, and you wanted to achieve Silver, how might you twist the routing in order to maximise TPs?
Could you route via MAD and BOS/JFK/ORD? Or even something more foolish via DOH?

You could do those routings exUK and you would get more TPs, but I suspect the price in J would still be very high (>£2k) and you would still be nowhere near £3 or less per TP. Apart from the recent exUK flash sale (which I don't think we will see again for at least 12 months) the only way you would get a TP run under £3/TP is go exEU. Either the exDUB or exCPH would do at the moment. For the specific destinations you mentioned in these sales you can do 2 connections in Europe, and 2 in the US/Canada. So for example say DUB-HEL-LHR/LCY-JFK-ORD-YYZ/YUL - so up to 900 TPs.
