One change was that they seem to officially acknowledge that Global Entry is also low risk. So GE members will be able to join Nexus in the trusted traveler line. In the past, they would sometimes turn away GE members. Showing the physical card is required.
You didn't formerly have to take your laptop out. They changed it when that idiot found some open door and walked on to a flight to Brazil without being screened.
