Being rude to the desk people never accomplish real change.... Talk with a manager, send a letter to hyatt, or take your business else where. As for spending money on a taxi is what I would do and then ask the front desk to reimburse me or apply a credit to my bill. If they made it right I would stay with them if not I would take my business some where else.
