There are a few solutions floating around but I can report that the tarball at http://psydev.syw4e.info/new/dnstunnel/ worked for me on a really cheapskate VPS. iodine requires tun which the cheap openvz providers won't give you. I am travelling next week and now I am armed with a roaming SIM and a dnstunnel. Bring it on
