Just completed a stay here last week.
Renovation is ongoing, and the first room I received on level 10 was driving me nuts, half the floor was undergoing renovation, workmen walking around, apparently a storage room beside me, drilling could be heard.
The room was renovated, but the carpet was stained (wine?) and the bathroom very small
A new room was requested, on a lower floor this time. No apparent renovation except half the lift lobby cordoned off. Room was cleaner, bathroom has a shower only this time. The shower area is very nice with 3 shower heads

especially like the waterfall one. Given the design of the mosaic I bet mould will be very apparent in the coming years.
Exec lounge is not signposted. The area is small and can get full during peak hours. We were offered breakfast in lounge or restaurant, we chose the latter.
Service is good, Aybike from the exec lounge was a star.
Location wise, a taxi is required. If from the hotel, it's easy but getting back from sights is challenging- find a taxi booth instead of flagging. If around the old town/ Sultanahmet area, look for the Nur-U road. There is a stand near the HSBC, and we got our taxis from there daily, using the meter...no one else wanted to use the meter.
