While in Frankfurt I went to the brick and mortar store of Koffer Klein. (kofferklein.de) Located at ROSSMARKT 10, they are easy to find.

I bought five pieces of Salsa Deluxe for the spousal unit and they sold them to me at the net of VAT prices identical to koffer deluxe and the rest. Of course I had to pay shipping and I wound up paying a bit more than the actual shipping---they promptly refunded the difference.

They won't ship them to the US on an internet purchase---I had to physically be in the store, but they have a great selection and they hunted down one uncommon piece that few of the stores (including kofferdirekt and koffer24) have available.

Ms Fuchs was very helpful and I have nothing but positive remarks about them. Of course if you are there you can buy the products, get the VAT process started when you leave the EU and avoid shipping -- a net cheaper way to go but I was traveling onward multiple stops.

They were able to combine a few pieces in shipping and made every effort to minimize my costs.
