Hi -

Miles purchased post immediately.

If you will be flying Alaska in the future, get them for 2.15 cents/mile by buying a ticket and then purchasing 10K miles for $200+ tax. If you are not MVPG, but a fully refundable ticket.

Mileage transfers usually take 24-72 hours, but sometimes take longer. You are at the mercy of Starwood on that.
