I stayed here last week and when I asked for an upgrade was told they were full and none were available. I know at this hotel upgrades don't mean much but this was a blatant lie - the website indicated at least 4 rooms available in various categories. I checked in at about 7.30pm so they're hardly likely to get new reservations for a night's stay. I'm not sure what the point of avoiding the offering of an upgrade is therefore apart from a general couldn't care less attitude.
