Heard this morning that my upgrade has NOT been accepted. I bid US$170 per person per sector, including the child. Having had a 4 out of 4 success rate a couple of months ago, I don't think it was to do with the size of my bid, more the fact that the flight has only two seats left in J. Perhaps with no-shows, I might be lucky but not expecting anything except a cramped night flight in economy.

Spending money instead on access to the lounge in Doha - approx US$50 each. Unbelievably thy still have no Priority Pass lounge in DOH.

For the return journey, the flight is wide open and fully expecting my bid to be accepted.
