I'll be taking the night train from BKK - for FTers from CM, how easy is it to get to the hotel from the train station? Are the taxis reliable?

How about the night train itself - I was told it is safe for a single woman but I'm wondering about the logistics of carrying a large suitcase (Thailand is part of my 4 week vacation for which I needed my suitcase - couldn't get away with my backpack).
