I know someone who works for Qantas and he sometimes gets flights for next to nothing. He's always travelling to some far-flung corner of the world...lucky devil!
Staff travel, can be stressful if flight is full and OH can't get on
I know some BA CC if they had to work on NYE they tried to make sure some of their CC friends were also on the same flight.
