poncherelli, I hear ya.

DCC seems to be widespread in Europe and China it seems.

I'm currently using an Amex card to negate this. Always remember to ask to pay in their local currency during check-out. However for pre-paid rates, don't think this can be done since you'll most likely be charged even before you arrive.

Anyways lesson learned. ^
