When people criticize LH Y food (not that any Y food is all that great), I often wonder to what they are comparing. In addition when one considers that LSG caters a surprisingly diverse set of airlines, sometimes the comparison is more between different offerings of the same company than between airlines...
I have done a number of TATL flights between FRA and the US and my take on the food is this; Meals on flights out of FRA are of a better quality then meals out of CLT>FRA or PHL>FRA. Why is this? I can only guess....
