Yes but it can be time consuming. You go to the hotel front desk, they call DFW public safety officers, who come to front desk and fill out paperwork, then escort you to TSA checkpoint.

TSA must have supervisor sign log. You go thru FULL security (secondary/patdown). Then you are free to roam around the terminal.

If all the stars align, it could be 20 minutes. The one time I did it, it was well over an hour because it took the TSA supervisor 45 minutes to respond.

If i was going to do it again, i would book an award reservation, go thru pre-check with the boarding pass, then cancel it before flight departs,( since I can do that with no penalties.)
