AA Partner Award Manual Review Timing?

Hi everyone,

I have a multi-segment AA partner award that I made a change on and was told it required a manual review to reissue. I've called several times and have had agents reassure me everything looked good, and they even called a supervisor, the rate desk, and the help desk, and everyone who has seen the changes says it should be fine. The reason it needs a manual review is apparently the computer is saying it is an invalid itinerary, but everyone who has looked so far says it should be valid. It has now been 48 hours, and they say there is nothing they can do to expedite the process because of the manual review, unlike other times when they can push the ticketing process through.

Anyone know how long these things can take?

I'm concerned because two of the previously-ticketed segments are on CX which no longer have any additional award availability, and based on what I've seen here, CX may cancel the segments soon if not properly reticketed, since it has been over 48 hours now since the changes were requested. Yesterday they said give 24 hours, now they say give another 24 hours.. which would push it past the 72-hour mark without a valid ticket, a situation that seems ripe for CX auto-cancellation.
