If the line jumpers were ineligible for PreCheck, wouldn't the agent scanning the boarding passes notice that? You would think that there would be data embedded in the bar codes so that the agent could see PreCheck eligibility upon scanning the boarding passes. If not, that's a pretty boneheaded move on TSA's part.
