Yes and no. If the scanner works and captures my iris then it prints a ticket that I show to security and they never asked me for the card.
If the scanner doesn't work, which happens a lot, or if my wife won't be able to get her iris scanned , which also happens a lot, then we go to the crew line, our cards in hand and blaming the malfunctioning of the scanner, and they let us pass through.
