Just depends on what you value most. If cash and avios aren't a problem then go in J/F. Actually the cash portion you are going to spend is basically a wash. Not sure what your avios spending habits are? Mine are purely for flights under 2500 miles so you'll have to decide if you think it's worth it. Sorry not much help I know!
