Update:

Hilton Honors internet reply was basically too bad, that I need to cancel before the transfer date of Jan. 1 to Accor. They'll deposit my 184K points and it will take 250K to book in either Doubletree or South Wharf. (...???)

The GM in Hilton on the Park, said he's sorry I didn't get notified, but that Accor will honor my booking and Gold status, but if I want he'll see about moving my booking to So. Wharf.
