I need some help from the FlyerTalk pros.

I applied for a Brazil visa on 12/3 for a trip to GIG (via GRU) starting on 12/26. As of this morning 12/16 the SCEDV website still lists my visa as "Received", and I have since scheduled an appointment for my local consulate in Houston for 12/22.

Any chance of getting this thing done before 12/26 with Christmas smack dab in the middle there, or is it time to call an expeditor?
