Using AA PLT number or start using BA Blue card
Advice please: Planned trip AMS-LHR-LAX-HNL on BA metal (and BA flight numbers),except for the pacific parts to HNL which are on AA. I am Lifetime Platinum (OW Saphire) so get the perks, but wondered whether to put in my lowly BA Blue number on the booking to get BA Silver for the year.
Would there be any specific benefits I wondered?

Downside will be no double miles from AA, which is so good for first class low mileage redemption/award tickets. (only 160,000 miles to SYD in First class from EU)
Any thoughts would be appreciated...
