Holiday Inn Manhattan Financial district

Just staying there for 2 nights on points I luckely booked it with the preopening rate of 20k points , now it is the usually 35k for New York.
The location is very good in Downtown just above the Subway line 1 station Rector street, so you are in midtown fast ,also it is about 2 blocks from WTC and 10 minutes walk to staten island ferry.
there are some small delis and restaurants near.
But now we come to the Hotel itself, there are still working proccess at the main entrance ,and the Lobby is just a joke and not to be called so.
very very small not exciting at all with a small front desk and really no place to move around ,by the 2 elevators, yes only 2 here are 3 computers are free to use but no restaurant ,it is outside and the so called lobby bar i couldnt even see it because the Lobby is a totally joke and I was even more shocked with my upgraded king room on floor 45.
You enter with 2 luggage and there is no place for it, the room is the smallest I have stayed in Manhattan even the Holiday inn express are much bigger.
The King size bed is so cort , short in lenght that my feets are hanging outside the bed.
The bathroom is only for hobbits so small that you will cry and only one soap and shampoo for the room, the tissues are above the toilett because there is no place to put it, no table to put your toothbrush the washbasin is like one in the kindergarten for childrens, and the water springs out to the floor if you try to wash your skin.
no points or welcome drink or letter was given at check inn as Platinum ,just the so called upgraded kingsize room for hobbits.
by the way the toilett seat was dirty and belive it or not, on one of my head sheat was a dry blood sign.
Would never stay again in this NEW HOTEL it is a totally joke even for 20k points. The smallest room I have ever stayed ,avoid it at all and take another Hotel for the same 35k points a night, because if you are travelling together there is no place in the room.
