Interesting "battle of the forms" question - does a writing apparently from a random United Club representative modify the terms and conditions of the Chase card and the UC membership?
I suspect not.
I'm still not tremendously sympathetic on this - she "paid" (remember that she cancelled after a year, per her rights) for a one year membership, not a 15 month membership.
Kudos to the SFO dragons for making an customer service "friendly" gesture, but I don't see how it's at all unfair that her free one year UC membership wasn't actually 15 months.
