Looks like I'm going to come up 46 miles short of hitting platinum for next year... very frustrating.

I can do a quick milage run (SEA-PDX-SEA, maybe), but my current December schedule makes that very inconvenient. Anyone have any other ideas?

Important notes:
-I'm platinum now.
-I have a Platinum Skymiles amex. I've hit my 25k spend threshold, but no where near the 50k spend.
-DL is doing their "double points for flights in and out of SEA" right now
-I called the platinum customer support line and asked if they'd forgive the 46 miles, and they said no.
-If I want to buy the miles, I can only buy in chunks of 2500, which costs around $1200.

Any ideas short of a milage run, Flyertalk?
