Probably it was because they had to walk down silently from UD to MD using the forward stairs....fair enough
ps: I got one bottle of LPGS for free too, only ones. It was because I ringed the bell and no one showed up within one hour, after which I went to the rear galley to complain in person. I just rang because I was sitting in a W seat and the aisle pax was having a nap. I needed some water to take some drugs. I complained a lot, really, that episode is one of the few ones which really pi**ed me off. It could have been an emergency. When I went to the rear galley guess what? All 5 of them were having a lovely chat smiling and making jokes....how beautiful is that????
I was travelling in W and it was MF, (I would say average age 28),for your information.
