Pullman has an article out saying Hilton on the Park Melbourne will become Pullman January 1 or Jan 15 depending on which article. I had a 5 night award I booked in May.

If I do a dummy booking on both Hilton and Pullman website, this hotel shows up on both.

I know often enough the purchasing hotel does honor reservations, not sure about award reservations (I'm pretty sure my points were already deducted).

So when do you think Hilton was going to notify me and do you think they'll move me over the Hilton South Wharf at the same award redemption (much less than what South Wharf wants). I stay at Hilton or Marriotts due to status and perks. If the put my points back, neither points nor cash is agreeable to me at this point; its crazy the money they want so close to my date. I'm so sad. I've written the Hilton on the Park GM, hoping he'll tell me the truth this time (he lied to me in June telling me they were only rumors).

When things like this happen do you think Hilton will work with me to make this right? This is my dream vacation. Granted only 5 nights out of my 30 nights in Australia, but still............
