I had a recent poor experience with Qatar, I emailed a complaint after a long time they responded and offered 3000 Qmiles and I responded by advising that a low amount of Qmiles is of no use to me as from my understanding the flights I do MAN to BKK for example is 75,000 Qmiles return, I presently have just 3000 Qmiles on my account for two trips and the Qmiles I have will just expire without being used in anyway.

I asked for a lot more Qmiles so I could atlest part pay cash and use Qmiles or my membership status being upgraded from Burgandy to silver.

Can anyone please advise me what would be worth suggesting to Qater as an alternative goodwill / compensation gesture?

I just cannot see myself getting enough miles to actually use them for the flights I am likely to do.
Also I think the Qmiles have an expiry date?

Unless someone suggest I should accept Qmiles and then transfer them to another program / airline or a better use of the Qmiles?
