Rows 95 to 99 on A380 economy upper deck

My family and I are traveling in August on LH on an A380. We can reserve economy seats on the upper deck (rows 95-99), as follows:

Code:

   AC DEFG HK
95 .. .... ..
96 .. .... ..
97 .. .... ..
98 .. .... ..
99    . ..

This configuration is not (yet) reflected in the LH/SeatGuru/SeatExpert seat maps.

Has anyone ever flown on an A380 with upper deck economy, and is the upper deck to be preferred over the lower deck?
For a party of three, would row 99 be a good choice? Note the gap where 99E would otherwise be. (Yes, I know the galley and stairs would be right behind.)
