I just noticed that sometime in the last three months or so, the Hampton Inn in
Florissant, Missouri, is no longer listed. It was nothing special, but a) it was always significantly cheaper than the STL-adjacent properties, and b) it had the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had at a hotel -- made from scratch in a little kitchen behind the breakfast area by a woman who took a lot of pride in it. (This was several years ago before the breakfasts at Hampton got so "standardized" and corporate punished hotels for local initiative, as one manager told me).
