Luxury Collection properties are under their own management, FYI--they just have incorporated the brand standard for SPG reservations, SPG status, SPG redemptions/earnings, and the like. The Gritti and Danieli are managed by their own teams, however, and not by traditional Starwood. The St. Regis, on the other hand, is managed by the St. Regis team.
