The most notable animal flight for me this year was the PDX-ANC flight on 8/19. That's when "Brad's World Reptiles" was transporting their slithery guests up for an educational exhibit at the Alaska State Fair.
They had dozens of crates and plastic boxes on hand-trucks in the check-in area, with the residents within getting a lot of photo-op attention. Pythons, cobra, copperheads, cottonmouths, rattlers and - get this - even a crate with an 8 foot alligator.
Seriously. I'm good, but I can't make this stuff up.
Snakes on a plane? Kind of cool but kind of creepy. This gal would
much rather have her flight go to the dogs ...
