It might drag on for a few more weeks or even a couple months after that, but I figure waiting beyond 12/31/2014 one runs the increasing risk of it disappearing. If I don't see an increased sign-up bonus for the biz version, I might just hold my nose and go for the current 25K offer in the last few days of 2014 - 25K is better than nothing.
Of course since I did not get instant approval when I applied a week ago for the current increased personal offer, I won't be surprised if I get denied for the biz, too.
Understood. Personally, I don't think 25k miles for the $79 fee (not waived) is as good a proposition as might be had by risking a bigger bonus or simply waiting for another AA card with bigger bonus from Citi. If they increased to 50k miles, I'd absolutely apply.
(I also believe that late 2015 or early 2016 will see the inevitable devaluation for AA miles...which means the 25k won't be worth as much in the end. I'd rather wait for 50k or not bother.)
Of course, I might change my mind. :-)
