I am flying on an "old" 747-400 flying from YVR-LHR on Dec 24.

I was told by a phone agent that they do not sell first class on this flight, given that its an old 747-400, and I had my choice of pre-booking a seat in first class, or selecting a Club World seat.

I'm assuming that the first class seats are better than the Club World seats, and I should opt for the first class seats on this flight?
