I registered with etihad guest miles recently. I did not have a credit card so ended up buying ticket from a travel agency. I would like to add miles to my account. The ticket has the reference number , ticket issue number etc . I would like to add these miles to my account.

is it possible to add these miles if ticket is bought somewhere else like a third party website or travel agent?

My flight is on 20th january . Etihad has claiming miles policy for flights flown after registration. Should I wait for the flight arrival date and then claim my miles? Or does it work like emirates where the miles gets added up right away when you buy a ticket. Am confused. Little help would be really nice.
