The 747 F is more spacious. Especially if travelling alone, take a window seat starting from the front backwards. Row 1 (Golds only, until T-72 I think) is beautifully lonely, but has the communal locker in front of it which can be a slight irritant if flight is busy and some F passengers are less considerate than they should be (new money). Row 2 has a massive empty space between the 2 seats.
Row 3 is good too. On the 777 all rows are pretty much the same ie 1-2-1. Also 747's are being phased out so why not do it while you can, most pax prefer the 747 anyway?
Enjoy. I hope you get a great crew, that will make all the difference whichever Boeing you choose.
The 747 is in no way more spacious, quite the opposite in fact, the 777 has much more space, which is blatant when you consider the nature of the space in which the 14 seats fit
I will always choose the 777 for F flights where possible, it's simply a nicer, less cramped environment.
That's having done the 747 though, if you've not done it before, I'd recommend the 747 simply for the novelty (Which will be no more soon enough) of sitting in the nose and esp rows 1-2
