Do you mean they end up both on one frequency plan rather than two plans?
The reason why I ask is airnz give the same number of points from a Australian departure as from auckland so if you can split the sectors you in theory could receive the TT sector points on another plan and not lose any airnz points for the whole journey
Does this happen in practice?
