I have only been back flying since Sept, but always checked bags mostly with oversized as well. All but late flight back on UA ( IAH-YEG) and 15min wait for oversized @ YYZ My bags have been in 1st 10-15 bags and oversized waiting for me by the time I got there,
YYZ/YVR/YYZ/YHZ/YYT/YQR/IAH/LGA

Home base YEG probably slowest for belt to start but never more than 10 mins and my bags off 1st, I blame that as much on only 5 mins from getting off plane to getting to baggage belt since it's a very short walk
