I've never had a problem cancelling online. However, as others have (wisely) stated, you should check closely to make sure awards are redeposited correctly.

Hearing that, one might ask why not just call, but the reality is that I've called to make cancellations, and the rep did not put my award or DSU back properly. Both methods seems to be a bit hit or miss.
