Exactly, so we are talking about a Cat.5 and low rates in off-season around $500
Of course, every new hotel in Europe is 'more than welcome' (no pun intended...) but what we really need is a solid Regency priced at € 120 and a Hyatt Place 30-50% chaeper.
Places like Budapest, Prague, Bratislava or Sofia have lots of really good 5* hotels priced around € 100, so I see very limited value in paying a 300-400% premium for a hotel, which is a little bit nicer...
The difference pays for two massages at the best spa in town plus two very good dinners and wine in the best restaurant in Prague...
