Tix Booked...Oahu or another Island?
Pretty excited I scored 4 RT tix for my family of four from MSP to HNL (1 stop) for about $580 ai, which included some upgrades to Economy Plus and travel insurance (base fare was about $495 per).
At any rate, our trip will be 7 days/6 nts in March 2015. Not long enough IMO but my wife's work schedule dictates. We are a family of four with two kids ages 5 and 2. Wondering if we should just park ourselves in Oahu for the duration of the trip OR if we should jump on a HA interisland flight to another island?
My wife and I have done Waikiki/Honolulu before and have seem the major attractions BUT have not seen much outside the metro. We have done Kauai so that is out. Maui is of interest as well as the BI. However it will already be a mighty long day on travel-in day and would get even longer with an island hop.
What say you? Doable or advisable to hop OR stay put?
