I have read a few posts about airmiles cards in the churning thread but I have a specific question not related to churning.
Got the card and spent more than the $500 required for the bonus very quickly. The first amex statement shows the airmiles earned for the spend and these airmiles showed up on the airmiles account very quickly.
I know the official spiel is to allow 6-8 weeks for the bonus miles but what I'm wondering is whether our not those miles show on the last page of the amex statement as bonus miles or if they just show up in the airmiles account.
I'm anxious to get that bonus as soon as possible so that I can use them for a specific reward.
