The 20-month requirement would likely become a problem in the future. She usually just uses the cheapest option to fly the route.
Heck, even I am struggling to burn some FlyingBlue miles, because an Air France flight I took earlier this years turned out not to earn status miles.
How long are Korean Air miles valid these days? Is there a SkyTeam program that doesn't charge fuel surcharges?
