While their service reputation and website are poor, MU is the 6th largest airline by number of passenger carried, and 13th largest by RPK, and it has a respectful safety record, much better than some of the Skytrax 5 star airlines (OZ, GA)

In terms of hardware, they are retiring 346 with recliner seats in J and F with new 77W with Suites in F and Reverse Herringbone in J and AVOD in all classes, most of the 332s have lie-flat seats in J and AVOD in Y so at least they are trying to catch up there.
