In my recently-ended working days I flew upwards of 20 LH flights per year on BA and my employer shelled out well over $30,000 per year for my travel. I generally squeaked into Gold with perhaps 1520 TPs. That's just the way it worked--and I accepted it for what it was. Now that I'm no longer doing those trips, I'm doing TP runs (writing this right now from one of them, in LAS, in fact). The program is what it is and the game is there to be played.
