Woke up to power at my place ( Van Ness) shutting off sometime after 6a. Diesel generator started emergency lights, opened up all the car gates.
It's 8:30a, just got to the office downtown and it's without power.

Got back power 2 hours ago and just got back internet.
My mileage run last night SFO-IAH-FLL-SFO wouldn't have been fun I guess. I got to the airport and they had apparently oversold the SFO-IAH by TEN SEATS and due to the impending storm no one wanted to rebook for $200.
Then they offered $500 + hotel. I volunteered so long as they would book my same run leaving on a redeye Saturday at 1am and pay for my cab home. Felt bad for the other people who volunteered to catch flights today at 9am, but maybe they made it out.
The
FLL-SFO flight I would have been on today should be leaving now but is delayed by an hour so far. I wonder how it will net out.
