As of Dec 1 my Platinum Status downgraded to Classic…no soft landing despite me actually staying at a number of Accor properties over past year.
Have an upcoming stay at the Mercure in Bristol, UK. Made the booking when my status was still Platinum. Will that be reflected in my booking or does the system automatically update status? I ask only because with some other airline FF programmes, status at time of booking reflected rather than at time of taking flight.

at booking time, all your info is sent to the hotel, including the comment that you write in the dedicated field
but at the time of checkin, prior to your arrival, the most updated info of your account is displayed in the hotel system
therefore if you have lost your status in the meantime or if your account is locked, the hotel will see it and will act accordingly
they print an arrival list with all guests listed and they can see who booked thru which channel and who has a valid status
