No personal experience in this but it's your status at the time of stay which will be into account.

What I've seen with some airlines is just a computer glitch that makes your status at the time of booking printed on the boarding pass but the miles you earn or the different other perks (e.g. lounge access, etc) are in line with your status at the time of the flight.
