The NW/DL integration was lauded for being as smooth as possible and I'm unaware of any such glitch in the continuing AA/US integration. In any event, with both of these mergers, you can bet that they're jumping through hoops to ensure that loyal international customers are well looked after.

Moreover, not being able to successfully add a KTN to an international record is a whopper of a glitch if WN has any interest in courting business travel. My last flight on UA from Sao Paulo last month had me sailing through both US customs/immigration in about 3 minutes and then TSA PreCheck another 3 minutes or so. Total breeze.

With the challenges that WN presented yesterday, from the time I stepped off the plane til the time I'd cleared TSA screening at BWI at terminal B -- a full hour had passed.

If WN was fully up and running with their systems, this should all have taken me no more than 15 minutes flat. That's a significant failure on their part. Had my inbound flight been 20 minutes late or so, I'd likely have missed my connecting flight!
